AS the final series of Big Brother gets under way, Clydebank's former housemate Mikey Hughes has declared he wants back in.

Producers of the show have revealed that at the end of the 13-week stint, some of favourite contestants from the 10 series, including the celebrity spin-off, will go back in the house for two weeks.

The Parkhall man got everyone laughing during his time in the house in 2008 - particularly during a memorable moment when he ate an extremely hot chilli.

And he has remained one of the public's favourite characters from all the series - and the only blind contestant.

Mikey has already done a piece for Big Brother's Big Mouth this year.

Mikey, 36, told the Post: "There's a lot of talk of people from the last ten series of Big Brother and from Celebrity Big Brother going back into the house for the last two weeks. There's no Scottish people in the house this year and a lot of people are really disappointed about that so maybe they'll want to put somebody Scottish in for the last two weeks.

"I think I would like to go back into the house but it's a weird one.

"Nothing is ever going to be as good the second time around.

"When I was in the house filming Big Brother's Big Mouth I could have stayed in.

"So I suppose I wouldn't mind going back in for a few weeks.

"They'll probably have all the usual suspects going in - Craig Philips, Brian Belo and Niki Graham.

"Craig is a nice guy but he won a series ten years ago and TV has moved on.

"The show's producers should want it to go out with a bang.

"They don't want it to go out with two weeks of reminiscing.

"You want people that are going to go for it from day one and characters that are going to clash.

"I would clash with most of them because I don't really like any of them."

This year's contestants entered the house on Wednesday and Mikey thinks there is potential for it being a good show.

He said: "This year's launch night was quite interesting.

"There's definitely a few good characters in this year.

"I like the Irish girl's accent and the girl who sounds like she's got a Manchester accent."
