A BANKIE actress and singer could be set to feature in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Parkhall girl Jenna Lee-James, 33, is currently with the Strictly Come Dancing Professionals Tour following starring roles in London West End shows.
She is one of three singers who front the live band that provides music for the dancers.
In the past the singers on the tour are the same as those used in the show, so Jenna is hoping she will be asked to appear in the next run of the BBC flagship series.
The former Clydebank High pupil said: "It's all kind of up in the air what's going to happen.
"Normally they use the singers from the show on the tour but they've changed the female singers for the tour this time.
"I don't why they decided to do that.
"You never know what's going to happen. It would be nice to appear on the show.
"I'm really enjoying the tour. We have to sing a mix of songs and because it's just the professionals from the show on this tour, the dancing is phenomenal."
Jenna and the Strictly professionals are in Scotland this week performing at the Edinburgh Playhouse and she is glad to get a bit closer to home so she can spend some time with her family.
The purely singing gig is a move away from Jenna's previous role as the female lead in the West End's production of Jospeh, which she appeared in alongside Lee Mead.
