A £10,000 reward is being offered to help find the knife wielding robber who held up a Clydebank bookmakers and mugged a young couple.
The suspect - believed to be around 19 or 20 - struck at the Coral bookmakers on Dumbarton Road, Dalmuir, around 7.40pm on Tuesday April 6.
He threatened the two staff members - a 61-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman - with a bladed weapon and demanded cash.
He made off with a three-figure sum but is believed to have been chased up Nairn Street, Dalmuir, where he made his way on to the canal tow path and across the footbridge.
He then ran into Singer Road where he got into a red Fiat Punto.
Then just after midnight on Wednesday April 7, the thief is believed to have struck again as a 31-year-old woman and her 22-year-old boyfriend were returning to her home in Croftpark Road, Hardgate.
She was parking her vehicle in her driveway when the man opened the door, threatened her with a knife and demanded cash.
She handed over a two-figure sum and her boyfriend handed over his mobile phone.
The mugger was then seen running off towards a small dark coloured car parked at the end of the road.
The suspect is described as white, aged 19 or 20 and with deep blue eyes.
He was wearing a dark hooded top, black tracksuit bottoms, a dark scarf around his face and was carrying a black rucksack at the time of the incidents.
Coral is putting up a £10,000 reward for any information which will lead to the prosecution of the man.
A spokesman for Coral said: "This was an unpleasant and unprovoked attack and unsurprisingly the members of staff were shaken up but thankfully unhurt - as was a customer who was in the shop at the time.
"We will do everything we can to assist the police in their inquiries and there's a reward of up to ten-thousand pounds for any information leading to a prosecution.
"We would urge anyone who knows anything to come forward and assist the police."
Clydebank CID is appealing for witnesses who saw either incident or have any information about the suspect.
Detective Constable Stevie Monaghan said: "I'm asking anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or who may have seen a male matching the description to come forward and assist with this enquiry.
"These incidents were an extremely frightening experience for all involved
"We are currently viewing CCTV and hope that this will help take the investigation forward.
"I would urge anyone who saw this man either entering the premises on Dumbarton Road or getting into or out a vehicle in Singer Road to contact police."
Clydebank CID can be contacted on 0141 5323336 or you can phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
