Tributes have been made to a couple who tragically perished in a caravan fire, as their names were officially released by police.
Billy Lama, 65, from Parkhall, and Liz Dobbin, 59, of Bonhill, were killed when a fire broke out in their caravan in Lagganbeg Caravan Park, Gartocharn, in the early hours of Saturday March 13.
Fire chiefs confirmed investigations into the cause of the devastating blaze are still continuing.
Billy and Liz were regular visitors to the caravan site and owners Sylvia and Phil Allan have this week broke their silence to say how they have been left devastated by the death of their "much-loved" friends.
Sylvia said: "We and everyone at Lagganbeg Caravan Park would like to send our heartfelt sympathy to the families of Liz Dobbin and Billy Lama at this tragic and devastating time.
"The couple were much loved in their extended family community of Lagganbeg and they will be greatly missed.
"We would like to thank the emergency services and everyone else who helped in this difficult and sad time.
"It is really a hard time just now."
A spokesman for Strathclyde Fire and Rescue has re-issued safety advice for caravan users.
He said: "Please make sure that working smoke detectors are fitted and gas supplies are switched off at night.
"Caravan fire safety information can be found on the following website http://www.communities.gov.uk/documents/fire/pdf/144278.pdf."
