A two-car collision left a stretch of Dumbarton Road out of operation for more than six hours on Friday.
The crash involving two expensive saloons - a black Alfa Romeo and a silver BMW - happened at approximately 12.15pm and forced drivers to find an alternative route of travel until around 6.30pm.
Details of what led to the collision are not clear but it seems the cars had been travelling in opposite directions.
The incident happened between Dyke Road and Blawarthill Street, Yoker.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and it appears fire crews were forced to cut through the wrecked Alfa Romeo - removing its doors and roof - in order to free its driver.
Appliances from both Knightswood and Clydebank fire stations attended.
Police confirmed neither driver - both male - was seriously injured.
It is not believed the vehicles were carrying passengers.
The incident occurred close to where a man was knocked last week during Monday's morning rush hour.
