CLYDEBANK'S dancing divas are being invited to join the nation's favourite dance floor comedy legends on stage.

Stavros Flatley - the chubby father-son Greek Cypriot duo who captured the imagination of viewers on Britain's Got Talent - are heading to the town for a day of festive frolics.

The pair - dad Demetrios Demetriou. 42, and son Michalakis, 13 - will come to the Clyde Shopping Centre next month in a toe-tapping extravaganza culminating in switching on Clydebank's Christmas lights.

Before then Bankies who fancy a slice of the limelight can enter the dance off to be crowned Scotland's best Stavros Flatley tribute act - and win £500.

The first heat of the dance off will be with the YOUR Radio team on Sunday November 15 between 12pm and 4pm at the shopping centre.

The YOUR team returns on Saturday November 21 for The Big Fat Greek Christmas Lights Switch-on with the remaining acts, belly dancers, Greek music, face painters and caricaturists.

Entry forms for the dance off - as a duo, group or on your own - will be available from the Clyde Shopping Centre and in the Clydebank Post soon. A form will also be available online at www.clyde-shoppingcentre.co.uk.
