A BUILDER who tragically died on a construction site will be remembered as a loving family man who always had time for others, his partner has said.
Daniel Hurley was rushed to hospital after a steel frame collapsed on him on the site he worked at in Glasgow on Thursday October 15, and sadly died of his injuries.
Friends and family of the Knightswood man have come over from his native Republic of Ireland to help comfort partner Carrie McArthur, as preparations are made to take his body home to Cork to be buried.
Speaking to the Post this week, brave Carrie said the sport fanatic was the love of her life.
The 29-year-old woman, who lived with Daniel on Arrowsmith Avenue, said: "Everybody who met him said what a great man he was - he always put others before himself and everyone loved him.
"He just had so much love and was all about family."
A celebration Mass will be held in Daniel's memory at St Peter's in Partick on Thursday.
