A POLICE chase including a helicopter and dog unit on Sunday, October 4 resulted in the arrest of two young men from Clydebank.
The pursuit got under way on Sunday afternoon after officers on patrol saw a Ford Fiesta, previously reported stolen, entering the Faifley area.
Tracking down the car with the support of the helicopter, police officers managed to corner the car, from which two fled.
The 23-year-old and 15-year-old were then caught and detained by police.
The duo have since been charged with theft by house-breaking, the theft of two cars, committing a breach of the peace and numerous road traffic offences.
It comes afters two cars — an Audi and Ford Fiesta — were stolen during a break-in at a house on Melfort Gardens, Clydebank, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The Audi was recovered a few hours later when it was found abandoned on nearby Vanguard Street.
