A YOUNG star DJ has taken over the breakfast show on Your Radio, sister station of the Clydebank Post.
And Grace Nicoll got the great news she had landed the early morning show the day after her wedding.
Grace, 23, moves from the early evening and Saturday afternoon slots to host breakfast Monday to Friday, replacing Davey Davidson.
She said: “What an exciting time this has been. The day after I got married to my lovely Fraser, Gary Marshall the station manager told me he was offering me the breakfast show.
“I was so thrilled I rushed around to my mum’s place and we danced around the kitchen.” Gary Marshall said: “Your Radio is delighted to make Grace the only female solo breakfast host on mainstream commercial radio in Scotland.
“Her bubbly nature is already proving a hit with the listeners who are contacting the station to say what a great personality she is.” Davey Davidson has left the station due to personal reasons.
Your Radio broadcasts along the Firth of Clyde and to Loch Lomondside on 103 and 106.9FM.
