A DALMUIR man who breached his anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) will return to court for sentencing.
Scott McGhie flouted the terms of the order by entering Pattison Street and contacting a woman he was banned from speaking to.
The 34-year-old, of Burns Street, previously admitted breaching the ASBO and appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court for sentencing last week.
Steven Wight, defending, told the court a benefit of McGhie having been remanded in custody was that he had not consumed alcohol in the meantime.
Mr Wight added that a family bereavement while McGhie had been in custody had provided an incentive to overcome his demons and said: “He is keen to help his sister-in-law with the children following the death of his brother.
“He seems much more focused. This period in custody has had a significant impact on him.” Sheriff Craig Turnbull revoked the existing community payback orders and deferred sentence until November 5.
