AN ARGOS store is due to open within Sainsbury’s at Drumchapel Retail Park.
The digital store’s launch has been delayed, something the company says it is working to speed up.
At this stage there is no date confirmed for opening, or information on the number of additional jobs created.
An Argos spokeswoman said: “We’d like to apologise to customers for the delayed opening of our Drumchapel digital store within the Sainsbury’s supermarket on Allerdyce Road.
“We can confirm the delay is due to operational difficulties and both Argos and Sainsbury’s are working to resolve this ASAP.
“Customers can continue to shop at local stores Clydebank, Britannia Way, Braehead Shopping Centre and Partick at West End Retail Park — all of which are within three miles of the Drumchapel store.”
