An online petition has also been launched in a desperate bid to save the crucial service.
The support staff will demonstrate outside West Dunbartonshire Council’s headquarters in Dumbarton on February 4.
A notice posted on www.clydebankwomensaid.co.uk last week reads: “From April 1 families living in refuge, as well as other residents within Clydebank, will no longer be able to access Women’s Aid support if the council don’t u-turn their decision.
“This means that women, children and young people who have experienced domestic abuse will lose out on this vital support to recover from their experiences. We believe more suffering and deaths due to domestic abuse will occur if this service is eliminated. “Join us in demonstrating at the council offices, Garshake Road, at 1.30pm on February 4.
