The rock’n’roll outfit have been racking up gigs and radio play across the UK and have even just bagged their own rehearsal studio.

The four-piece includes vocalist Chris Wood, 27, guitarist Martin Seawright, 26, bassist Lee Granger, 27, and Gary Harkin the drummer, aged 27.

Sporting the greatly coveted Scottish accented vocal and multiple guitar styles, Revolving Doors are well-entrenched in the much-loved indie genre.

“We got our own studio this year which has really helped bring on our sound together,” drummer Gary Harkin told us. “This has proved to be a huge factor in getting songs to the level where we want them to be, and also for creating new songs.” The band formed in 2009 as No Fxd Abode before a rebranding decision earlier this year dubbed them Revolving Doors.

And since then they’ve released their debut studio album Guiding Light, which is available on iTunes and Amazon.

They mark it as their greatest achievement, as well as the four singles they have put out to the public.

Revolving Doors have been on the road — with gigs in the Great Escape Festival in Brighton and Tramlines Festival in Sheffield.

The rock ‘n’ roll outfit haven’t deserted their home turf — with two headlining slots this year in King Tut’s Summer Night Festival.

DJs across the nation have picked up on the band — with plays on rock radio XFM as well as from highly accredited Scots music journalist and DJ Jim Gellatly.

Harkin continued: “Our plan for the future is to work hard and play a lot more gigs — and also spread the word of the band.

“We’re looking to make a whole lot of new fans and, as always, try and improve our sound and talents.” All their music — including videos — can be purchased on iTunes and Amazon, just search ‘Revolving Doors’.
