The incidents took place near to the canal path at Rosebery Place and on Miller Street between September 8 and October 15.
Local Community Inspector Natalie Doherty said: “Following our enquiries, we believe these incidents involve the same man. Two of the incidents have occurred around 7am on September 8 and October 15, and the third happened just before 5pm on September 12.
“On each occasion the man has made no attempt to speak to or approach anyone but his behaviour has been seen by people walking in the locality.
“As a result I have increased police patrols in the area and we clearly want to trace this man to prevent further incidents.” Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the man should contact officers at the Clydebank Community Investigation Unit on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
