Over the four day event last month representatives from Faifley Community Church, Faifley Parish Church, St Margaret’s Church and several others outwith the area walked through the town for the special spiritual gathering.
Last week Yvonne Blake, who helped to organise the event, told the Post the aim had been to bring everyone together ahead of the excitement of the Commonwealth Games but said she now hoped it could become an annual occurrence.
She added: “I thought it would be good to pray before the Baton arrived in Clydebank.
“It went well, it was really good. Lots of people came so I think we’ll need to do it again.”
