Health secretary Alex Neil visited the facility last week for a demonstration of its new displays.

The interactive displays — which feature graphics on hospital performance in vital areas, including patient care, cleanliness and efficiency — are fitted in public areas and are readily accessible throughout the facility, giving patients and staff updates on how the hospital is meeting its targets.

Clydebank MSP Gil Paterson (pictured) said: “Once again the Golden Jubilee is leading the way in its expertise and innovation. We are indeed fortunate to have such a centre of medical excellence on our doorstep.” Jill Young, chief executive of the Golden Jubilee, added: “We use Dashboards as part of our Quality Framework to give assurance at all levels that safe, effective, person-centred care is delivered at all times.”
