Workers from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GGC) had been asked to trump the 1.6 million steps it took for the Queen’s baton to travel across Scotland.
As part of the Active staff campaign, each participant took an average 6,119 steps each day while wearing their pedometers, higher than the usual step count for individuals which is between 3,000 and 4,000 per day.
