A total of four cars were targeted by crooks in the Old Kilpatrick area overnight between Sunday and Monday.
It is believed all of the vehicles had been left unlocked and officers have now reminded residents to ensure their motors are always left locked and secured.
People are also being reminded to remove their valuables from their cars in order to discourage opportunist crooks from striking.
