TALENTED pupils at Scotstoun Primary School made the most of a unique opportunity to perform an anti-sectarian play that's normally reserved for secondary schools. The young thespians won rave reviews from parents and teachers for their excellent performance of Divided City.
The novel was written by Scottish author Theresa Breslin, the play was written by Martin Travers and the music was composed by Claire McKenzie.
The children had studied the novel and liaised closely and worked collaboratively with neighbouring school St Paul's Primary.
Angela Gordon, depute head at Scotstoun Primary School, said: "The play covered the issues of sectarianism and racism through the story of two boys as they experience life in their own communities.
"The children thoroughly enjoyed performing the play and were highly successful in delivering such an important message."
