Pensioner injured in 'attack'

A CLYDEBANK pensioner suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung following an alleged assault on Friday (July 6).

The alleged incident took place at 5.50am in Livingston Street, Linnvale.

The 70-year-old was taken to the Western Infirmary in Glasgow for treatment.

A 25-year-old man is expected to appear in Dumbarton Sheriff Court today (Monday).
