A FORMER children’s assessment centre in Cardross has been named as one of 17 institutions across Scotland being probed by the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry.
The Cardross Park Assessment Centre in the village is one of three in the former county of Dunbartonshire named by the inquiry last week as the inquiry investigates claims of historic sexual, psychological and physical abuse.
The centre was demolished after its closure and the site, west of Cardross Golf Club, is now occupied by flats.
