DUE to Storm Ali causing major disruption yesterday, some rail services are still affected throughout the central belt.

ScotRail have advised passengers to check before they travel.

Their website states:

Due to severe weather earlier between Springburn and Cumbernauld disruption is expected until noon today.

Train services between Cumbernauld and Dumbarton Central are returning to normal but some services will still be cancelled.

Services are returning to run as scheduled between Queen St and Falkirk Grahamston and between Dumbarton Central and Cumbernauld although some cancellations will follow.
