CLYDEBANK volunteers from Marie Curie will be selling tickets for an ABBA tribute night in the Erskine Bridge Hotel.
A newly formed fundraising group is holding the event on October 6 in aid of Marie Curie’s free and expert care, guidance and support for those with a terminal illness.
The Marie Curie Clydebank and Erskine fundraising group have booked Paul and Lynne from Heart Scotland to host the event which includes a four-course meal, entertainment from an ABBA tribute band, a DJ, raffles and stalls.
Tickets will be on sale at Erskine Bridge Hotel, 2pm-4pm on Sundays (September 16, 23 and 30).
Derek McIlwraith, chair of the group, said: “The night promises to be a fun filled night that local people of all ages will enjoy, on the night we have one of the UK’s best Abba tribute acts, Abba A Rival, which will be a show to remember.
“Local people can come along, have fun and know they are supporting the charity.”
The doors open at 7pm where there will be a selection of stalls such as jewellery, personalised clothing and sweets, and glitter face painting.
Donated raffle prizes so far include a meal for two at Nando’s and Cinderella Pantomime tickets for the SECC.
For tickets, costing £30 per person contact 07766 066856 or email clydebankgroup.mariecurie@gmail.com.
Every ticket sold supports the local Marie Curie nurses to provide free end of life care to patients.
