A YOKER man, who broke down his ex-partner’s front door during a fit of rage will be sentenced next month.

At Dumbarton Sheriff Court this week, Mark Dunlop pleaded guilty to an offence which happened on June 26 this year.

The court heard that Dunlop, 26, of Kingsway Court, behaved in a threatening or abusive manner likely to cause a reasonable person to suffer fear or alarm by shouting and swearing and acting in an aggressive manner towards his ex-partner.

He repeatedly banged on the door with such force that the door broke.

The incident happened at a house in Lawmuir Crescent, Faifley.

Sheriff John Hamilton deferred sentence until September 12 to obtain a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.

Bail was continued.
