COMMUTERS are being warned of heavy traffic and parking restrictions in north-west Glasgow today.
Roads surrounding Knightswood Park, including Great Western Road and Lincoln Avenue, are expected to be busier than normal throughout the day with parking restrictions in place.
Scotstounhill railway station will also be busier than usual between 10am and 2pm as a result of the nearby BMX event at Knightswood Park.
Parking restrictions on the Road Race route will come into force from 4pm today (Friday, August 10) until 11.59pm on Sunday (August 12). The route will remain open to traffic until 3am on the Sunday.
Road closures will also be in place in the city centre due to Festival 2018 and Merchant City Festival near George Square.
