It might be perfect weather outside but that doesn't stop young Bankies from having a blast indoors.

Children have been taking part in Y Sort It's summer programme and our photographer caught up with them last week as they enjoyed a range of fun activities including bubble football, shoto budo, camera workshop, arts & sports.

The children also enjoyed a trip to Flip-out trampoline centre and RollerStop on Tuesday.

Laura Ward, depute manager of Y Sort It, told the Post: "The summer programme has got off to a tremendous start this year, the young people who have attended so far are having a great time."

The club has more than 200 young people from across West Dunbartonshire registered.

Laura added: "We have received some lovely comments on social media from parents saying how good it is to see their kids having fun at our activities, and how it makes such a difference to families and young people that they can access these programmes for free.

"The first two weeks have been amazing, we can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring."

"We would like to thank Cashback for Communities who fund the holiday programmes and West Dunbartonshire foodbank for donating food to allow us to give the young people a healthy snack, fruit water and sandwich."

The summer programme designed for ages 10-18 includes ParkLives sessions on Mondays from 1-3pm.

On Wednesdays they're in the Hub and Fridays feature DJ nights at Desire Night Club in Balloch with pick ups available at the Faifley Co-op, former Play Drome, or The Hub.
