June Field, who was crowned the ‘World’s Greatest Psychic’ on a TV show in 2012, is coming to Clydebank.

The medium has impressed audiences with her attention to detail, with self-proclaimed psychic and TV personality Uri Geller saying he has “never seen someone so specific”.

The 58-year-old from Dundee even claims to have helped solve a crime.

While participating in International Battle of the Psychics – a Ukrainian competition that she would go on to win – June was given a chain that had belonged to a girl who was murdered.

She told the Post she was able to describe the murderer’s tattoo, the car he drove, and part of the registration plate and the man was later caught.

“I was the only one in the history of the show that never failed a task,” she said.

“I was given a chain of a girl that was murdered and described the man that murdered her and his tattoo.

“He had a yellow car and I gave part of the registration plate. He murdered again and was caught.

“He did have a tattoo and a yellow car, and the registration plate was right.”

June won the show with 54 per cent of the vote and has given readings to stars including Susan Boyle, popstar Toyah and Natalie J Robb, of TV’s Emmerdale.

However, for June it’s about using her gift to help others.

She added: “I was born with this, it’s not something I wanted to do in life.

“I’m passionate about making a difference. I feel like we are all here for a purpose.

“It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality. I want to get it right. I do it with the right intent.”

June has used her events to raise money for charity. including Make-A-Wish and the Scottish SPCA.

She also wants to change the perspective of those who might be sceptical of psychic mediums.

“If I can put that little bit of doubt in the ones that’s are just sitting then I’m doing my job properly,” she said.

“They will go away thinking ‘what the heck just happened?’”

An Evening of Mediumship with June Field will be held at Clydebank Town Hall, on Wednesday, May 16, from 7.30pm. Tickets are £21.50.
