A FIRE-BUG, who admitted torching a front door of a Clydebank house, and putting occupants in danger, will be sentenced later this month.

Lorna Doyle, 33, of Alsatian Avenue, Clydebank, admitted wilfully setting fire to a front door in the town’s Vanguard Street on March 14, 2017.

Dumbarton Sheriff Court heard how the fire took effect and caused “extensive damage” to the house and put people in danger.

Sheriff William Gallacher deferred sentence until May 31 to obtain social background reports.

Bail was continued.
