COMMUTERS in and around Glasgow are facing disruption after a signal fault hit rush hour journeys.
Problems between Drumry and Hyndland are affecting trains travelling through Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street low levels.
At least 13 replacement buses were in operation with First Bus accepting rail tickets for journeys on affected routes.
It comes as tens of thousands of rail passengers endured travel chaos over the Bank Holiday weekend after an electrical fault caused hundreds of trains to be cancelled or delayed across the west of Scotland.

The disruption comes as figures show ScotRail has been hit with record fines for failing to meet required standards for running the country’s trains and stations.
The latest fault was reported by ScotRail just before 4pm and the disruption could last until 8pm.

@ScotRail I’ve been trying to get home since I finished work at 5pm. At this rate I might as well go back to work and camp out! pic.twitter.com/fB7CWOkOO3

How much longer is this level of signalling failure going to be tolerated? Glasgow central ground to a halt on Sunday, two days later much of the Strathclyde area is hit with a signalling failure at Hyndland. Best railway Scotland's ever had eh????
