Bankies are being invited to nominate their heart heroes for an awards ceremony.
British Heart Foundation (BHF) Scotland is on the lookout for its Heart Heroes of 2018, which recognise the different ways people fight heart disease.
The awards will be presented at a gala awards dinner in London and the categories are Healthcare Hero, Young Heart Hero and the Inspiration Award.
Nominations are open until Friday, May 11 at 4pm and the winners will be announced in London on Friday, October 5.
James Cant, director of BHF Scotland, said: “Heart and circulatory disease affects the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across Scotland.
“Yet, there are so many ordinary people who, when confronted with that challenge, are doing extraordinary things.
“Our Heart Hero Awards recognise and celebrate the efforts of those who are working selflessly to make life better for other people.
“So, if you know someone who is making a difference then please put their name forward so that their contribution can be recognised and honoured.”
