STAFF and students from Clydebank College did their bit to make sure children in the area had an egg-stra special Easter.

The generosity of the college was seen when it joined sister campuses at Greenock and Paisley in donating more than 300 eggs for less fortunate youngsters.

With so many collected, West College Scotland was able to expand its reach, donating eggs to children supported by Women’s Aid in Clydebank, Glasgow, Greenock and Paisley, as well as those helped by Barnardos and Friends 4 Ever.

Pamela Jones, of West College Scotland, said: “There is always some form of charity work taking place across the college, however this particular event always receives a large amount of support.

“The staff and students did a fantastic job, resulting in our biggest collection yet. We hope the children supported by these wonderful charities had a lovely chocolate-filled Easter.”
