THE owner of Planet Fitness Scotland in Dalmuir has opened his doors to the homeless as temperatures plummet.
Gary Robb has appealed to members of the public to help him keep vulnerable people safe in the freezing and blustery conditions.
The 40-year-old posted a heartfelt plea on Facebook urging locals to help him get the homeless out of the snow and indoors.
He said: "Ok folks this weather is serious and I can't stop thinking about the homeless people in and around Clydebank, so i'm gonna open the gym from 6pm and let people sleep in the studio."
He also asked anyone with spare blankets or sleeping bags to come forward and help the cause.
Gary told the Post: "I've always tried to help the homeless, and I think if we all stuck together and got the point across, there could be more done for these people.
"We are open now and will be open to anyone who needs shelter until this weather eases up a bit.
"Anyone who knows people sleeping rough, please send them down here."
