SWIMMERS and gym goers were evacuated from Scotstoun Leisure Centre after a small fire sparked an alarm.
Firefighters rushed to the scene at around 10.05am after the fire alarm went off this morning.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told our sister title the Evening Times that the fire was small and within a light fitting.
The evacuation, however, included fitness enthusiasts who were swimming, and one Twitter user was not impressed with being forced outside in their swimwear.
@Jeflew said: "The one time I go swimming at Scotstoun in god knows how long and there’s a fire. Evacuated in my swimming costume.
The Twitter user added: "As far as I know, everyone got out safely. We eventually were in the warmth of the changing rooms.
"I had my bag, so put my clothes on over my costume and headed off. Fire engine was there when I left. Home now, and ready for a warm shower."
