A MAN became racially abusive towards a train inspector after he asked to see his tickets on a service between Motherwell and Dalmuir.
Transport cops are now hunting for the racist who kicked off at around 5.10pm on Saturday, February 10.
The force said that the man was on the 4.15pm service from Motherwell.
When the ticket inspector asked to see his ticket, the man became racially abusive towards him, shouting and swearing.
The offender was white, around 5ft 6 inches, and was wearing a black top with a navy backpack. He was believed to be a teenager.
