A WOMAN has admitted seizing another woman by the hair and pulling her to the ground in Faifley.
Michelle Montgomery also admitted wrapping her legs around the woman’s neck during the October 26, 2016, assault in Orbistan Place.
The 39-year-old’s defence agent said she had “no recollection” of the incident.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry deferred sentence on the Vancouver Street resident to call for criminal justice social work and restriction of liberty reports.
He told Montgomery: “The incident was 16 months old, I think if it was last week custody without any reports would be almost inevitable.
“This schedule of previous offending is quite simply unacceptable. It shows a period of 18 years. The last [offence] prior to this was in May 2016 which resulted in a CPO [community payback order] which by your own admission you breached.”
Montgomery will return to Dumbarton Sheriff Court on March 2.
