BANKIE comedian Kevin Bridges is making a big donation to his home town's St Margaret of Scotland Hospice.
The star is gifting proceeds from his upcoming 2018 tour and protecting his fans from ticket touts at the same time, said promoters.
Kevin informed the hospice he'll be donating half of all sales from Platinum Ticketmaster seating and the other half to the Royal Hospital for Children at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
The premium tickets at held back fromk general sale to be sold at the market rate, preventing touts from profiting by buying up tickets for resale.
Sister Rita, chief executive of St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, said: “We are very thankful to Kevin for this outstanding gesture.
“Kevin is a regular supporter of the hospice and it wonderful that he has thought of us in this way. We are absolutely delighted to benefit in such a way as a result of Kevin’s shows this year and we send him our best wishes on his tour.
"As a result of Kevin’s thoughtful and very generous gesture, the donation received by us will go towards providing our patients with the highest standards of care.”
