A MAN has appeared in private charged in connection with the explosion of an ATM in Clydebank last week.
James Deeney appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court charged with opening a lockfast place with intent in Glasgow Road on January 11.
He was also charged with an offence under the Explosive Substances Act 1883.
The 48-year-old, from Clydebank, made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. He was released on bail.
