COLD-HEARTED crooks stole a bike belonging to a 13-year-old child just days after Christmas.
A 13-year-old’s bike is amongst thefts being investigated by police in the days around Christmas.
The black Carrera mountain bike worth £320 was taken from the band stand in Three Queens Square just after 1pm on December 27.
The theft is one of several reported to police across the festive period, including the theft of power tools from a works van in Duntocher Road, Clydebank , just before Christmas. Police are appealing for information on the theft between 6.30pm on December 23 and 9.45am on December 24.
There was also an attempted theft from a locked car in the multi-storey car park at Clyde Shopping Centre on December 22. Someone tried to force the lock between 12.30pm and 2.45pm.
Call police on 101 with information.
Police have reminded residents to keep valuables locked up in their homes., not in vehicles, and appealed for witnesses to any of the thefts to contact them on 101.
