ST Stephen’s Primary had a nativity show celebrating the true meaning of Christmas – through social media.
The school tried something a bit different to share the Yuletide story as all pupils got involved in four performances, including a dress rehearsal for the sheltered housing residents next door.
Head teacher Jane Crombie told the Post: "Our primary 7s put a modern spin on the Christmas story through social media, which seemed to be quite commented on.
"While singing, there was a slide show of Mary and Joseph updating their statuses on social media.
"It was really, really good. It's a good way to connect it for young people."
Miss Crombie added: "This is my first year as head teacher so I was absolutely delighted and very proud.
"I want to emphasis how much of a team effort it is and the community spirit here – nothing can happen on stage without everything in the background."
