The festive spirit came to Whitecrook recently as Centre81 celebrated its Christmas fair.
Some of the events and offers on display included Santa himself paying a visit to his grotto for some local youngsters in attendance, as well as a number of stalls showcasing items including candles, Christmas decorations and jewellery.
There were also a range of food options available on the day to satisfy hungry and cold visitors, including homemade soup, hot dogs and hot chocolate.
Centre81 is a special initiative run by Clydebank Housing Association to help with the future regeneration of the Whitecrook area by helping residents gain skills and qualifications to move into work. It also runs a number of activities through the year with young people in efforts to reduce levels of antisocial behaviour and to improve the physical and mental health of residents.
Alison Mailey, Centre81 co-ordinator, said: “Santa took some time out of his very busy schedule and paid a visit to the Centre81 Christmas Fayre.
"The day was a great success and we raised funds of £450 for our community pot, which helps us to provide activities and events at Centre81, including the October week holiday programme and Easter holiday activity week.”
