A DRUNK woman repeatedly punched a taxi driver who asked her for her home address, a court has heard.
Robyn Irvine, 20, of Alexander Street, Clydebank, appeared in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court after pleading guilty to the assault.
She repeatedly punched the taxi driver on the head to his injury on June 3 this year at Cecil Street, Glasgow.
She also admitted to a second offence. She accepted that she shouted, swore, uttered a racial remark and struggled with police officers.
The court heard she called the driver a “P*** b******”.
She will complete 190 hours of unpaid work in the community. She will also be supervised for 18 months and tagged for 30 days.
