DRUMCHAPEL Tennis Club is saying thanks for a community grant from the Alderman Road Co-op.
The shop presented a cheque for £1,758.85 to the tennis club and will go towards floodlights to keep youngsters playing through the winter.
Karen MacKay, coach and administrator, said: "We are very grateful to all those in the local area who supported us by choosing Drumchapel Tennis Club as their chosen charity with the Co-op.
"We are enormously grateful to the Co-op for their community grant scheme which helps local community clubs like us.
"We will be using the money towards new pre paid floodlight activation card machines to give members more independent access to play tennis all year round.
"Thanks to the Co-op and everyone who supported us online."
