RADNOR Park’s Christmas fair returns this week with a special visit from Santa - for free.

The charity Cash For Kids are providing toys and financial backing to the Central Radnor Park Tenants and Residents Association event, at The Hub off Kilbowie Road on Saturday, December 9, from 1-4pm.

More than 200 children visited St Nick at last year’s event.

The group’s Marion Sweeney said: “The event is for children who are facing poverty and the focus is entirely on making sure all children get a visit, photo and present with Santa.

“The reason there is no charge is due to the extremely high costs involved in seeing Santa at local shopping centres.

“The Radnor Park area has the most number of children living in poverty in the West Dunbartonshire Council area. But this event is open to anyone from any area to come along and take part.

“This year we have face painting, glitter tattoos, more selections at our tables, a colouring room, games with prizes from an entertainer.”
