A PENSIONER has been charged in connection with the death of a woman in Clydebank in September.
The 75-year-old man was arrested by Clydebank police and is expected to appear in court in due course over the alleged incident.
The woman, 67, of Bell Street, Whitecrook, died on September 4 in hospital.
A Police Scotland statement confirmed: "A 75-year-old male has been arrested and is currently detained in police custody in connection with the death of a 67-year-old woman who died within the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital on Monday, September 4 after sustaining injuries within her home in Bell Street, Clydebank.
"A full report has been forwarded to the procurator fiscal."
