A NEW group set up to help people in Clydebank with disabilities is to hold its first open day next week.
Twenty-eight different organisations will be present at the Clydebank Disability Group’s information day at Clydebank Town Hall on Wednesday, November 28.
The event, which runs from 10am until 3pm, will give people with disabilities in the area a chance to meet experts, find out about local disability groups and what they have to offer, and to ask questions about the support and information they provide.
Kevin Crawford, from the Clydebank Disability Group, said: “This is our first open day since the group started up.
“It’s all about raising awareness about the support and activities available for people with disabilities in Clydebank and the surrounding area, because a lot of people don’t realise what is out there for them.”
Tea and coffee will be provided, and entry is free. For more information about the event call 07415 211177.
