A CLYDEBANK teenager has been told that she is on her “last chance” to stay out of jail.

Joleen Thompson, 19, of Blue Triangle, Alexander Street, appeared at Dumbarton Sheriff Court last Friday, after she admitted breaching a curfew – imposed by the court – on August 22 and then failing to co-operate with background reports.

She also admitted attempting to steal a quantity of alcohol from Mountblow Superstore on Mountblow Road on June 17 while on bail.

Her lawyer said: “Her record does not make good reading.”

Sheriff Maxwell Hendry told Thompson: “I have written the words ‘last chance’ on the back of your papers, so whichever sheriff deals with your case that this is your last chance. You had better co-operate with the preparation of social work reports.”

Sentence was deferred until November 24. Bail was continued.
