A MAN has appeared in court charged with the alleged murder of a man in Knightswood at the weekend.
Allan Higgins Robertson appeared in private at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday in connection with the alleged incident.
The 48-year-old accused made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody, reports our sister paper, the Evening Times.
It comes after a man's body was found in the Kirkton Avenue flats on Sunday afternoon, with police being called around 2.30pm.
Officers attended but the man, who is yet to be identified, was pronounced dead.
A police spokeswoman said: "A 48-year-old man has been arrested and has appeared in court in connection with the incident.
"Around 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon police were called to a flat in Kirkton Avenue where the body of a man was found."
