LOCAL businessmen and women were given tips and advice on counter terrorism as part of a police operation.
According to a report to the Community Planning West Dunbartonshire management board, ‘Project Griffin’ involved around 50 locals.
The report says those taking part were offered “the chance to gain essential counter terrorism advice specifically directed at the threat that they may face in the light of current threat levels across the UK”.
The report adds: “This is the first event of its type on this scale in L Division since 2009 and was held at the Cameron House Hotel.”
