CLYDEBANK and north-west Glasgow community groups under the Glasgow Airport flightpath are being invited to apply for the latest round of charity funds.

The airport’s FlightPath Fund is offering £25,000 lump sums to give a lasting benefit to communities in the areas of education, employment and the environment.

The fund’s independent committee meets every two months to consider applications and has awarded more than £65,000 to 35 charities and groups across the region this year alone.

The closing date for applications is Friday, October 20 and entries will be considered at the final meeting of the year on November 3.
