A MAN has been arrested for the alleged theft of more than £140 worth of chocolate and toys.
The 50-year-old was accused of stealing 98 chocolate bars from Clyde Shopping Centre’s Wilko store at 12pm on July 10.
He is then alleged to have returned to the shop two days later and stolen £77 worth of Cadbury caramel and Galaxy caramel bars at around 12.30pm.
The accused is then alleged to have stolen a further £73 worth of the sweet snacks and toys on July 14. He was detained.
